General Motors said Tuesday that it will invest about $2 billion in 17 plants across eight states in the United States. "We are doing this because we are confident about demand for our vehicles and the economy," GM CEO Dan Akerson said in a statement. A production version of the Ford B-Max mini-MPV will make its debut at next month's Geneva motor show – one year after the concept was announced. The production B-Max stays true to the 2011 concept, with the same lack of a B-pillar between the conventional front and sliding rear doors, which creates a 1,500mm aperture. We'll be interested to learn how this affects both weight and rigidity as well as how much real-world advantage it offers.
This is the new BMW M5 super saloon. Or at least it's the BMW Concept M5, a show car that will be unveiled at this month's 2011 Shanghai auto show, and a preview of how the production M5 will look. Apart from the darkened wheels and lack of interior, this Concept M5 mirrors the real M5 almost 100%.
